About the Role

Our client is seeking a dynamic and organized Catering Manager to oversee a busy catering operation based in Coventry . This role is crucial for ensuring the smooth execution of all catering events, from initial client consultation to final service delivery, managing both front-of-house and back-of-house operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining high standards of service, managing budgets, and leading a dedicated team to exceed client expectations. Key Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate all aspects of catering events, including logistics, staffing, and client liaison.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and ensuring satisfaction.
• Oversee the selection and management of suppliers, ensuring quality and cost-effectiveness.
• Manage budgets, control expenses, and optimize profitability for all catering services.
• Lead, train, and motivate the catering team, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
• Ensure compliance with all food safety, hygiene, and health and safety regulations .

Requirements

• Proven experience in a Catering Management or similar supervisory role within the hospitality industry.
• Excellent organizational and project management skills, with the ability to multitask effectively.
• Strong customer service and communication skills, with a professional and personable demeanor.
• Experience with budget management and financial reporting.
• A flexible approach to working hours, with the ability to work evenings and weekends as required by event schedules.
• Knowledge of food and beverage operations, including menu planning and service styles.
