About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced and dynamic Catering Manager to oversee all aspects of their catering operations in Leicester . You will be responsible for delivering exceptional food and beverage services for a variety of events, ensuring high standards of quality, hygiene, and customer satisfaction. This is a hands-on role for an individual passionate about hospitality, capable of leading a team and managing resources effectively to achieve business objectives and maintain our client's reputation for excellence in the culinary world.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, organise, and execute catering services for events, including menu selection, staff allocation, and resource management.
• Manage and motivate the catering team, providing training and supervision to ensure high performance and adherence to company standards.
• Oversee food preparation, presentation, and service, ensuring compliance with all health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
• Control stock levels, manage supplier relationships, and negotiate favourable terms to optimise costs.
• Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints in a professional and timely manner to ensure client satisfaction.
• Develop and implement innovative menu ideas and service enhancements to stay competitive.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Catering Manager or in a similar senior catering role.
• Excellent knowledge of food preparation, culinary trends, and beverage service.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in stock management, budget control, and cost optimisation techniques.
• Relevant qualifications in hospitality management or catering are advantageous.
• Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends, as required by event schedules.
