Catering Manager

About the Role

Our client is seeking a proactive and organized Catering Manager to oversee all catering services for their operations in Coventry . You will be responsible for planning, organizing, and executing events, managing budgets, and ensuring client satisfaction. This role requires a blend of operational expertise, customer service skills, and a keen eye for detail to deliver seamless and memorable catering experiences. You will play a vital role in maintaining and enhancing the reputation of our client's catering services within the region.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and manage all aspects of catering events, from initial client consultation to final execution.
• Develop menus and proposals in collaboration with clients, ensuring dietary requirements and preferences are met.
• Manage and train catering staff, assigning duties and ensuring high standards of service delivery.
• Oversee budget management, including cost control, supplier negotiations, and profit maximization.
• Ensure strict adherence to food safety, hygiene, and health and safety regulations across all catering activities.
• Maintain positive relationships with clients, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.

Requirements

• Proven experience in event management or catering management , preferably in a similar role.
• Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple events simultaneously.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a customer-centric approach.
• Knowledge of food safety standards and a commitment to compliance.
• Experience in menu planning and costing.
• A valid UK driving license and willingness to travel for events as required.
