Catering Operations Supervisor

About the Role

Our client is seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Catering Operations Supervisor to oversee the smooth running of their catering services in Leeds . You will be responsible for managing on-site teams, ensuring the highest standards of service delivery, and assisting with the logistical planning of events. This role requires a hands-on approach, strong leadership skills, and a commitment to providing an exceptional client experience. The successful candidate will be instrumental in maintaining the reputation of our client's catering business through consistent quality and efficient operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate catering staff during event setup, service, and breakdown.
• Ensure all catering activities adhere to company policies, health and safety regulations, and quality standards.
• Assist with inventory management, including stock takes and ordering of supplies.
• Conduct pre-event briefings with staff, assigning tasks and ensuring clear communication.
• Address and resolve any operational issues or client feedback promptly during events.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of service areas and equipment.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a supervisory role within the hospitality or catering industry.
• Strong understanding of catering operations, service standards, and event logistics.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate a team.
• A proactive and problem-solving attitude, with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Good knowledge of food hygiene and safety procedures.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required for events in Leeds .
