Our client is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Catering Operations Supervisor to support their busy catering services in Bristol . In this hands-on role, you will assist the Catering Manager in overseeing daily operations, ensuring smooth service delivery, and maintaining high standards of food quality and customer satisfaction. You will play a key part in supervising catering staff, managing event setups, and ensuring all operational procedures are followed efficiently. Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and guide catering staff during service delivery, ensuring efficient and professional execution of events.
- Assist in the setup and breakdown of catering services for various events, ensuring presentation standards are met.
- Monitor food quality, portion control, and presentation, adhering to company standards and client specifications.
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and hygiene regulations within the kitchen and service areas.
- Manage inventory levels for supplies and equipment, assisting with stock checks and replenishment.
- Act as a point of contact for clients and staff during events, resolving minor issues promptly and efficiently.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a supervisory or team leader role within the catering or hospitality industry.
- Good understanding of food safety and hygiene principles.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and direct a team.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings and weekends, as dictated by event schedules.
