About the Role

Our client is seeking a motivated and organised Catering Supervisor to assist in the management of daily catering operations in Brighton . In this hands-on role, you will support the Catering Manager by supervising staff, ensuring service quality, and maintaining high standards of food safety and hygiene. You will be instrumental in delivering exceptional catering experiences for a variety of events and functions. Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and guide catering staff during service periods, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and to standard.
• Assist with the preparation, presentation, and service of food and beverages.
• Monitor and enforce strict adherence to food safety, hygiene, and health & safety regulations.
• Manage inventory levels for food, beverages, and supplies, assisting with ordering as needed.
• Ensure all catering equipment is clean, well-maintained, and correctly stored.
• Handle customer feedback and address any issues that arise during service in a professional manner.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a supervisory or team leader role within the catering or hospitality industry.
• Knowledge of food safety standards and procedures.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively lead and support a team.
• Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
