About the Role

Our client is looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Catering Team Leader to supervise and support their catering operations in Sunderland . This hands-on role involves leading a team of catering assistants, ensuring high standards of food preparation, service, and hygiene are consistently met. You will play a crucial part in the daily running of the catering service, motivating your team, managing stock, and ensuring that all events and service deliveries are executed smoothly and efficiently, contributing directly to client satisfaction and operational success within the team.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate a team of catering assistants to deliver excellent service.
• Oversee food preparation, cooking, and presentation according to established recipes and standards.
• Manage stock levels, including ordering supplies and conducting inventory checks.
• Ensure compliance with all food hygiene, health, and safety regulations.
• Assist in the setup and service of catering events, interacting positively with clients and guests.
• Train new team members and provide ongoing support and guidance.

Requirements
