Job Advertisement: CCDO Operative (Green/Red/Blue)

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled CCDO Operative to join our team in London for a minimum of 1 month. This role is ideal for individuals with experience in construction and demolition, who are ready to contribute to a dynamic and fast-paced environment. The successful candidate must hold a valid CCDO card (Green, Red, or Blue) and have Asbestos Awareness certification.

Responsibilities

• Breaking out using breakers and other tools as required.
• Conducting investigations and assessments on-site.
• Managing water systems and ensuring proper water flow and drainage.
• Performing standard labouring tasks, including cleaning up and maintaining a safe and organized work environment.
• Adhering to all health and safety regulations, including asbestos management protocols.

Qualifications

• Mandatory: Valid CCDO card (Green, Red, or Blue).
• Previous experience in construction, demolition, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of health and safety practices on-site.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently when required.
• Physically fit and capable of handling manual labour tasks.

Day-to-Day

• Start each day with a safety briefing and task allocation.
• Use breakers and other tools to carry out demolition and breaking-out tasks.
• Conduct site investigations to identify and address potential issues.
• Manage water systems to ensure proper functionality and prevent flooding.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization on-site, ensuring a safe working environment for all team members.
