Job Description
Our client who is one of the UK’s fastest growing fast-fit automotive business, are currently looking for a Centre Manager based at their retail centre in Penrith.
As a Centre Manager you would be responsible for the day-to-day running of the centre, managing and motivating the centre & workshop teams, driving sales performance and ensuring customers receive a high standard of service.
To be applicable for this role you must have experience managing people and have a strong background within the Automotive industry.
Location: Penrith
Pay / salary: £32,000 - £36,000, dependent on experience
OTE: Uncapped (realistic £10,000)
Shift and schedule: 08:30 - 17.30 Monday to Friday; Saturdays 08:30 – 16:00 on a rota with a day off in the week.
Fixed Term Contract - 12 months

Centre Manager Responsibilities:
Manage and motivate the centre and workshop teams and drive sales performance
Run the day-to-day operation of the centre
Maximise customer conversion and ensure strong customer service
Manage stock control, deliveries, branch assets and takings
Ensure workshop equipment and machinery are properly maintained
Maintain Health & Safety and operational standards
Coach and train team members where required
To be a Centre Manager you will need:
Valid UK driving licence – Essential
Previous Centre Manager / Assistant Centre Manager experience within automotive, tyres, fast-fit or a similar environment
Strong commercial and sales background
Good automotive and mechanical knowledge
Team-management experience
Understanding of relevant Health & Safety requirements
Strong customer-service and account-management skills
Our client:
They have over 180 centres within the UK and are actively growing, they are known for their strong national presence, modern service centres and commitment to customer care. They are looking to have over 300 centres within the next 3 years.
They offer a wide range of services including tyres, MOTs, servicing and repairs, supported by their ongoing large investment in training, technology and centre development.
