Charity Administrator

About the Role

Our client, a dedicated non-profit organization serving the Milton Keynes community, is seeking a meticulous and proactive Charity Administrator to provide essential support to their operations. This role is crucial for ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the charity, managing administrative tasks, and supporting various departments. Working in a hybrid model, you'll have the flexibility to balance office-based tasks with remote working. You will play a key part in supporting fundraising activities, volunteer coordination, and general office management, contributing directly to the charity's ability to deliver its vital services and programs.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage general administrative duties including correspondence, filing, and data entry.
• Support the coordination of volunteers, including scheduling and communication.
• Assist with the preparation of reports, presentations, and meeting minutes.
• Maintain and update donor databases and other organizational records accurately.
• Provide administrative support for fundraising events and campaigns.
• Handle incoming enquiries via phone and email, directing them to the appropriate personnel.

Requirements

• Previous experience in an administrative or office support role, preferably within the charitable sector .
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize workload effectively.
• A positive attitude and a willingness to support a range of organizational needs.
