Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the processing of accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements and other financial accounts accurately and regularly.
- Prepare financial reports and statements under the guidance of the Finance Manager.
- Maintain organised financial records and documentation.
- Support the annual audit process by providing necessary information and documentation.
- Assist with payroll processing and expense claim management.
Requirements
- Previous experience in an accounts or finance assistant role, preferably within the charity sector.
- Good understanding of basic accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks) and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
