Charity Project Officer

About the Role

Our client is seeking a diligent and organized Charity Project Officer to join their team in Sunderland . This role is integral to the successful planning, execution, and monitoring of various charitable projects aimed at improving community well-being. You will work closely with project managers, beneficiaries, and stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standard. Key Responsibilities

• Support the planning and development of new charitable projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
• Assist in the day-to-day management of projects, including scheduling, resource allocation, and progress tracking.
• Liaise with project stakeholders, including beneficiaries, partners, and funders, to ensure effective communication.
• Monitor project activities and outcomes, collecting data and preparing regular progress reports.
• Identify and help mitigate potential project risks and challenges.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant policies, procedures, and reporting requirements.
• Contribute to the evaluation of project success and lessons learned for future initiatives.

Requirements

• Previous experience in project support, coordination, or administration, preferably within a charity or non-profit environment.
