About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategies for recruiting, onboarding, and retaining volunteers.
• Match volunteer skills and interests to appropriate roles and tasks within the organisation.
• Provide ongoing support, training, and supervision to volunteers.
• Organise volunteer recognition events and initiatives to foster a positive volunteer culture.
• Maintain accurate volunteer records, including hours, activities, and training completion.
• Act as a point of contact for volunteer inquiries and address any concerns or issues promptly.

Requirements

• Proven experience in volunteer management , recruitment, or a related people-focused role.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and active listening skills.
• Strong organisational abilities and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in using volunteer management software and standard office applications.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and build positive relationships remotely.
