Chemical Engineer - Plant Operations

You will work hands-on with plant equipment, troubleshoot operational issues, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. Key Responsibilities

• Monitor plant performance, identify deviations, and implement corrective actions to maintain optimal operations.
• Troubleshoot process upsets and equipment malfunctions, performing root cause analysis.
• Support process safety procedures and ensure adherence to all environmental regulations.
• Participate in plant optimisation projects to improve yield, reduce waste, and enhance efficiency.
• Develop and update operating procedures and provide training to plant operators.
• Collaborate with maintenance, quality control, and management teams to ensure smooth production.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or a related discipline.
• 3+ years of experience in a chemical plant operations or process engineering role.
• Familiarity with process control systems (DCS) and instrumentation.
• Strong understanding of chemical plant safety protocols and environmental compliance.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively within a plant environment, including occasional shift work if required.
