Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive scale-up strategies for new chemical processes.
• Identify and address critical scale-up challenges, including heat transfer, mass transfer, and mixing.
• Design and oversee pilot plant trials to gather data for commercialisation.
• Develop detailed process models and simulations to predict performance at commercial scale.
• Ensure all scale-up activities comply with stringent safety, environmental, and quality standards.
• Collaborate closely with R&D, engineering, and manufacturing teams throughout the scale-up process.

Requirements

• Degree in Chemical Engineering or a closely related field.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience focused on chemical process scale-up and technology transfer.
• Proven ability to manage scale-up projects from pilot to commercialisation.
• Strong understanding of chemical reaction engineering, fluid dynamics, and thermodynamics.
• Experience with process simulation and modelling tools is essential.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and project management skills, adept for remote work.
