Chemical Engineer - Product Development

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development of new chemical products and formulations from laboratory scale to pilot plant production.
• Conduct experimental design, data analysis, and process optimization to achieve target product specifications and performance.
• Scale-up processes, ensuring reproducibility, cost-effectiveness, and safety.
• Collaborate with marketing, R&D, and manufacturing teams to define product requirements and ensure successful commercialization.
• Prepare technical documentation, including patents, reports, and scale-up protocols.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges encountered during product development and scale-up.

Requirements

• MSc or PhD in Chemical Engineering or a closely related field.
• Proven experience in product development , formulation, and process scale-up within the chemical industry.
• Strong knowledge of material science, polymer chemistry, or specialty chemicals.
• Proficiency in laboratory techniques, analytical methods, and pilot plant operations.
• Excellent project management and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and effectively in a remote team environment.
