About the Role

Our client is seeking a dedicated Chemical Engineer to provide essential production support at their facility in Portsmouth . This role is critical for ensuring the efficient, safe, and compliant operation of our chemical manufacturing processes. You will work closely with the production teams to troubleshoot issues, optimize process parameters, and implement improvements that enhance output and quality. Key Responsibilities

• Provide immediate technical support to the production floor to resolve process deviations and operational issues.
• Monitor key process indicators and performance metrics, identifying trends and potential problems.
• Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce cycle times, and minimize waste.
• Ensure all operations adhere to strict safety, environmental, and quality standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering .
• Proven experience in a chemical plant operations or production support role.
• Solid understanding of chemical engineering principles and their application in manufacturing.
• Experience with process troubleshooting and implementing corrective actions.
• Strong commitment to safety, environmental responsibility, and quality management systems.
