Chemical Engineer - Production Support

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to production teams to resolve process issues and minimise downtime.
• Monitor production data and KPIs, identifying trends and opportunities for improvement.
• Assist in the implementation of process modifications and upgrades, ensuring seamless integration.
• Conduct root cause analysis for production upsets and implement effective solutions.
• Develop and update standard operating procedures (SOPs) and batch records.
• Collaborate with quality control to ensure product specifications are consistently met.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
• 1-3 years of experience in a production support or process engineering role within a chemical manufacturing environment.
• Solid understanding of chemical processing principles and equipment.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills for working with production staff.
