Key Responsibilities

• Conduct fundamental research into new chemical processes and materials, assessing their technical feasibility and commercial potential.
• Design and execute laboratory experiments and pilot-scale trials to validate new technologies.
• Develop process models and simulations to understand reaction kinetics, thermodynamics, and separation phenomena.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including chemists, material scientists, and product developers, to advance R&D projects.
• Prepare detailed technical reports, research proposals, and intellectual property disclosures.
• Stay current with scientific literature and emerging trends in chemical engineering and related fields.

Requirements

• Ph.D. or Master's degree in Chemical Engineering or a closely related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in R&D, process development, or technology innovation within the chemical industry.
• Proven ability to design and conduct complex experiments and analyze results.
• Strong theoretical foundation in chemical reaction engineering, transport phenomena, and process design.
• Experience with computational modeling and simulation tools (e.g., Aspen Plus, MATLAB).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for reporting and collaboration.
