Key Responsibilities
- Analyze process data and performance metrics to identify areas for optimisation and efficiency gains.
- Assist in the design, development, and implementation of new chemical processes or modifications to existing ones.
- Prepare technical documentation, including process descriptions, P&IDs, and operating procedures.
- Conduct root cause analysis for process upsets and implement corrective actions.
- Collaborate effectively with remote colleagues across different departments, including R&D, production, and quality assurance.
- Ensure all work complies with company safety standards and relevant industry regulations, particularly concerning process safety .
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or a related field.
- 2-5 years of experience in a chemical process engineering role.
- Familiarity with process simulation software and statistical analysis tools.
- Understanding of core chemical engineering principles, such as thermodynamics, fluid dynamics, and heat transfer.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work autonomously.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, vital for remote collaboration .
