About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor plant operations, ensuring optimal performance of chemical equipment and processes.
• Develop and execute preventative maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and enhance equipment longevity.
• Troubleshoot and resolve operational and equipment-related issues as they arise on the plant floor in Edinburgh .
• Implement process improvements to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and improve product quality.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering with relevant experience.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in a chemical plant or manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of process equipment , instrumentation, and control systems.
• Experience with maintenance planning and execution, including preventative and predictive maintenance strategies.
• Proficiency in safety procedures, risk assessments, and environmental compliance.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure.
