Chemical Process Development Engineer

You will be instrumental in the scale-up phase, troubleshooting technical challenges and ensuring efficient production. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize chemical processes for new product introductions and existing product improvements.
• Design and execute experiments for process characterization and scale-up studies.
• Troubleshoot process issues encountered during pilot plant and commercial manufacturing.
• Prepare detailed process descriptions, operating procedures, and safety assessments.
• Collaborate with R&D, manufacturing, and quality teams to ensure successful technology transfer.
• Implement process improvements to enhance yield, reduce waste, and improve safety and operability.

Requirements

• Degree in Chemical Engineering or a related discipline.
• 2-5 years of experience in process development, scale-up, or manufacturing support.
• Familiarity with pilot plant operations and scale-up principles.
• Strong understanding of chemical thermodynamics, kinetics, and transport phenomena.
• Proficiency in data analysis and interpretation.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
