Key Responsibilities
- Conduct laboratory-scale experiments to develop and optimize chemical synthesis routes and separation processes.
- Analyze experimental data, interpret results, and develop robust process models to understand critical process parameters.
- Scale up laboratory processes to pilot plant operations, ensuring safety, reproducibility, and efficiency.
- Collaborate with remote engineering teams to translate process designs into scalable manufacturing solutions.
- Prepare detailed technical reports, research summaries, and documentation for patent applications and regulatory submissions.
- Stay abreast of the latest advancements in chemical engineering, process chemistry, and green chemistry principles.
Requirements
- PhD in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or a related scientific discipline.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in process development and optimization, with a strong track record of innovation.
- Expertise in laboratory experimentation, analytical techniques (e.g., HPLC, GC-MS), and statistical analysis.
- Proficiency with process simulation software and data analysis tools is highly desirable.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex scientific concepts clearly in a remote setting.
