About the Role

Our client is seeking a talented Chemical Process Development Scientist to join their dynamic R&D team in Norwich . Key Responsibilities

• Design and execute experiments to develop and optimize chemical processes.
• Characterize reaction kinetics, thermodynamics, and physical properties relevant to process scale-up.
• Develop analytical methods for process monitoring and quality control.
• Troubleshoot process issues encountered during development and scale-up phases.
• Collaborate with process engineers to ensure smooth technology transfer to manufacturing.
• Prepare detailed reports, present findings, and contribute to patent applications.

Requirements

• PhD or Master's degree in Chemical Engineering , Chemistry, or a related discipline.
• Strong background in organic synthesis or process chemistry.
• Hands-on experience with laboratory equipment and analytical instrumentation.
• Understanding of process safety principles and risk assessment.
• Excellent data analysis, interpretation, and reporting skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid setting , demonstrating strong initiative and teamwork.
