Key Responsibilities

• Analyze and optimize existing chemical processes to improve performance metrics like yield, throughput, and energy consumption.
• Develop and implement process improvements, including modifications to equipment and operating procedures.
• Conduct root cause analyses for process upsets and implement robust solutions.
• Prepare technical reports, process documentation, and P&IDs.
• Collaborate remotely with cross-functional teams, including R&D, production, and EHS departments.
• Stay abreast of new technologies and best practices in chemical engineering.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in chemical process engineering.
• Proficiency in process simulation software (e.g., Aspen HYSYS, ChemCAD).
• Strong understanding of chemical reaction engineering and separation processes.
• Excellent remote collaboration and communication skills.
• Experience with process safety principles and risk assessment techniques.
