Chemical Process Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and test new chemical processes and modifications to existing ones.
• Conduct thorough process analysis and performance monitoring to identify areas for improvement.
• Develop and maintain P&IDs, technical specifications, and operating procedures.
• Participate in process safety management (PSM) and risk assessments, both on-site and remotely.
• Support pilot plant trials and scale-up activities, ensuring successful transition to commercial production.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including R&D, operations, and quality assurance.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in a chemical process engineering role.
• Familiarity with process simulation tools and data analysis techniques.
• Knowledge of chemical reaction engineering and separation processes.
• Experience with hybrid work models and effective virtual collaboration.
• Strong understanding of process safety principles and regulatory compliance.
