About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly motivated and innovative Chemical Process Engineer to join their dynamic team in London . Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and optimize chemical processes from laboratory scale to full production.
- Conduct feasibility studies, pilot plant trials, and scale-up activities for new and existing processes.
- Develop process flow diagrams (PFDs) and piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs).
- Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues to ensure maximum plant efficiency and product quality.
- Ensure all processes comply with safety regulations, environmental standards, and company policies.
- Collaborate with R&D, operations, and maintenance teams to implement process improvements and technological upgrades.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical Engineering or a related discipline.
- Proven experience (3+ years) in chemical process design, development, and optimization.
- Strong understanding of chemical engineering principles, thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, and reaction kinetics.
- Proficiency in process simulation software (e.g., Aspen Plus, HYSYS) and CAD tools.
- Experience with HAZOP studies and Process Safety Management (PSM).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
