About the Role

This role is integral to maintaining and improving the efficiency and safety of our chemical manufacturing operations. You will be involved in the day-to-day running of the plant, focusing on process optimization, troubleshooting, and ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards. Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and optimize existing chemical processes to ensure consistent output and product quality.
• Conduct regular process reviews and implement improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
• Troubleshoot operational issues and implement effective solutions to minimize downtime.
• Ensure strict adherence to all health, safety, and environmental regulations .
• Collaborate with maintenance and operations teams on equipment integrity and process reliability.
• Develop and maintain process documentation, including SOPs and P&IDs.

Requirements

• Degree in Chemical Engineering or a closely related field.
• 2-5 years of experience in a process engineering role within the chemical industry.
• Practical knowledge of chemical plant operations and process control systems.
• Familiarity with process safety management principles and environmental compliance.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Ability to work effectively within a team and communicate technical information clearly.
