About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze process data to identify opportunities for optimization in yield, energy consumption, and throughput.
• Develop and implement process improvements using statistical methods and process control strategies.
• Utilize process simulation software to model scenarios and evaluate the impact of proposed changes.
• Conduct root cause analysis for process inefficiencies and operational issues.
• Collaborate with plant operations and engineering teams to implement and sustain optimization initiatives.
• Prepare reports and present findings and recommendations to management.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in process engineering, focusing on optimization and continuous improvement.
• Strong understanding of chemical process principles, thermodynamics, and kinetics.
• Proficiency in process simulation software (e.g., Aspen Plus) and statistical analysis tools (e.g., Minitab).
• Experience with Lean Six Sigma methodologies is a plus.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
