Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage daily operations of chemical production units, ensuring targets are met.
- Implement and monitor process control strategies to maintain product quality and consistency.
- Conduct root cause analysis for production deviations and implement corrective actions.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and minimize environmental impact.
- Ensure all production activities comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Train and mentor production staff on best practices and operational procedures.
Requirements
- Degree in Chemical Engineering or a related technical discipline.
- Significant experience in a chemical manufacturing or production environment.
- Demonstrated ability to manage and optimize complex chemical processes.
- Strong knowledge of process safety management (PSM) principles.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools.
