About the Role

Our client is seeking a strategic and experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead their financial operations from their Norwich office. This hybrid role offers a unique opportunity to shape the financial future of the company, balancing remote work flexibility with essential in-office leadership. You will be responsible for financial planning, risk management, and driving financial performance to support the company's growth objectives. The ideal candidate is a seasoned financial leader with a deep understanding of corporate finance, accounting, and investment strategies.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all financial operations, including accounting, financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Develop and implement financial strategies to support the company's long-term goals and profitability.
• Manage relationships with investors, banks, and other financial institutions.
• Ensure compliance with all financial regulations, reporting requirements, and accounting standards.
• Lead and mentor the finance and accounting teams, fostering a culture of accuracy and efficiency.
• Provide strategic financial advice and insights to the CEO and the Board of Directors.

Requirements

• Minimum 10 years of experience in senior financial leadership roles, including CFO or VP of Finance.
• Proven experience in financial planning, analysis, and capital management.
• Strong knowledge of corporate finance, accounting principles (GAAP/IFRS), and regulatory compliance.
• Excellent leadership, strategic thinking, and communication skills.
• Experience working in a hybrid environment within the UK financial sector.
• Chartered Accountant (ACA, ACCA) or equivalent certification required; MBA preferred.
