About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly strategic and results-driven Chief Operating Officer (COO) to lead their operational functions and drive efficiency across the organization from their base in Liverpool . As a key member of the executive team, you will be responsible for overseeing daily business operations, implementing business strategies, and ensuring the company achieves its operational and financial goals. This role demands a strong leader with a comprehensive understanding of business management, process optimization, and team leadership. The ideal candidate is adept at navigating complex business landscapes and fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all daily operations of the company, including production, customer service, and administrative functions.
- Develop and implement operational strategies that align with the company's long-term vision and goals.
- Manage the company's operational budget, ensuring cost-effectiveness and financial performance.
- Lead and mentor cross-functional teams, fostering a culture of high performance, collaboration, and accountability.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement solutions to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant industry regulations and legal requirements.
- Work closely with other C-suite executives to drive overall business success and strategic growth.
- Monitor key operational metrics and provide regular reports to the Board of Directors.
Requirements
- Extensive experience in senior executive leadership roles, with a proven track record as a COO or similar operational leadership position.
- Demonstrated success in developing and executing business strategies, managing P&L, and driving operational excellence.
- Strong understanding of various business functions, including finance, HR, operations, and technology.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to manage complex projects and lead large, diverse teams.
- Master's degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field; extensive relevant experience may substitute.
