This is a board-level appointment where you'll work closely with the Chairman to deliver sustainable growth, improve organisational performance and lead large-scale operational and digital change. A pharmaceutical background is essential, and experience within clinical trials would be highly advantageous.

Your responsibilities as Chief Operating Officer
- Partner with senior leadership to deliver strategic objectives and translate vision into measurable operational outcomes
- Lead organisation-wide transformation, continuous improvement and digital innovation programmes
- Drive operational excellence across multiple business functions while improving efficiency, quality and customer outcomes
- Establish robust governance, risk management and performance frameworks supported by meaningful business intelligence
- Develop senior leaders, strengthen organisational capability and align resources with business priorities
- Identify opportunities to improve commercial performance while supporting sustainable long‑term growth
What we're looking for in a Chief Operating Officer
- Essential background within the pharmaceutical industry, with clinical trials experience highly advantageous
- Proven ability to lead business transformation, operational improvement and strategic change
- Strong commercial and financial understanding with experience translating strategy into operational delivery
- Experience leading digital transformation and implementing technology to improve business performance
- Strong knowledge of governance, regulatory compliance and operational risk management within a regulated environment
Working Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday with hybrid working.
