About the Role

Our client is looking for a compassionate and energetic Childcare Assistant to support their dedicated team in Bradford . This role is integral to providing a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment for young children. You will work closely with experienced practitioners to deliver engaging activities, assist with daily routines, and ensure the well-being of every child. Key Responsibilities

• Assist lead practitioners in planning and delivering a wide range of age-appropriate activities.
• Provide direct care and supervision to children, ensuring their safety and comfort.
• Support children with daily routines, including feeding, hygiene, and napping.
• Help maintain a clean, tidy, and stimulating learning environment.
• Observe and record children's activities and developmental progress.
• Communicate effectively with colleagues, parents, and visitors.

Requirements

• A minimum of Level 2 qualification in Childcare or willingness to work towards one.
• Previous experience in a childcare setting is preferred but not essential.
• A passion for working with children and supporting their development.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Understanding of safeguarding and child protection principles.
