About the Role
Our client is looking for a proactive and organized Childcare Coordinator to manage the administrative and operational aspects of their childcare center in Nottingham . This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth running of the facility, maintaining high standards of care, and supporting both staff and families. You will be responsible for admissions, scheduling, communication with parents, managing resources, and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations. This position requires strong organizational skills and a dedication to providing excellent service within the early years sector, contributing to a positive and efficient childcare environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the childcare center, ensuring efficiency and quality.
- Oversee the admissions process, maintaining waiting lists and completing necessary paperwork.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for parents, addressing inquiries and concerns promptly.
- Coordinate staff rotas and schedules, ensuring adequate coverage at all times.
- Manage inventory of supplies and resources, placing orders as needed.
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and regulatory requirements, including Ofsted standards.
Requirements
- Previous experience in an administrative or coordination role, preferably within a childcare setting.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in using office software and childcare management systems.
- Knowledge of Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) principles and safeguarding procedures is advantageous.
- Ability to multitask and work effectively under pressure.
