About the Role

Our client is seeking a motivated and experienced Childcare Development Officer to join their team in Bristol . In this role, you will focus on supporting the development and improvement of childcare services across the region, working closely with childcare providers, local authorities, and families. You will play a key part in ensuring high standards of care and education, offering guidance, training, and resources to settings. Key Responsibilities

• Support and advise childcare providers on best practices, quality improvement, and regulatory compliance.
• Organize and deliver training sessions and workshops for childcare professionals.
• Assist in the development and implementation of local childcare strategies and initiatives.
• Conduct evaluations and provide feedback to settings to support their development.
• Promote the uptake of early years education and childcare services.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, including parents, providers, and local authority departments.

Requirements

• Relevant qualification in Early Years Education, Social Work, or a related field (e.g., Level 4 or above).
• Significant experience in the childcare sector, including a strong understanding of quality standards and frameworks.
• Proven experience in training, mentoring, or advisory roles.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and report-writing skills.
• Ability to work effectively with a range of stakeholders.
• A full UK driving license and access to a vehicle for travel across the region.
