Childcare Practitioner

About the Role

Our client is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Childcare Practitioner to join their well-regarded nursery in Plymouth . You will be responsible for the day-to-day care and education of a group of children, fostering a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment. This role requires a passion for early years development and the ability to implement engaging learning experiences. You will work closely with a supportive team, contributing to the overall high quality of care provided and ensuring each child's individual needs are met, promoting their growth and happiness.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver high-quality learning experiences that meet the needs of individual children.
• Observe, assess, and record children's progress, sharing insights with parents and colleagues.
• Ensure the safety, security, and well-being of all children under your care.
• Promote positive behaviour and social development among the children.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and stimulating learning environment.

Requirements

• NVQ Level 3 in Childcare or equivalent qualification.
• Experience working in an early years setting.
• Thorough understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A genuine love for working with children and supporting their development.
