Childminder Assistant

About the Role

Our client requires a reliable and enthusiastic Childminder Assistant to support their registered childminder in providing exceptional care for children in Manchester . You will assist with daily activities, play, feeding, and ensuring the safety and well-being of the children under supervision. Key Responsibilities

• Assist the registered childminder in providing a safe, stimulating, and caring environment for children.
• Engage children in age-appropriate play and learning activities, both indoors and outdoors.
• Support children during mealtimes, nap times, and hygiene routines.
• Help maintain a clean and organized play environment.
• Observe children's development and report any concerns to the registered childminder.
• Assist with administrative tasks as required, such as record-keeping.

Requirements

• Previous experience working with children is advantageous but not essential.
• A genuine passion for childcare and child development.
• Good communication and listening skills.
• Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy.
• Willingness to undertake relevant training, such as Paediatric First Aid.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a small team.
