Childminder Assistant

About the Role

Our client is looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Childminder Assistant to support a registered childminder in their home setting in Leeds . You will assist in providing a safe, caring, and stimulating environment for young children, helping with daily routines, activities, and meal times. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to gain experience in childcare within a smaller, home-based setting, working closely with experienced professionals and contributing to the positive development of children under their care, right here in Leeds .

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the childminder in supervising and engaging with children during play and learning activities.
• Help with the preparation and serving of healthy snacks and meals.
• Support children with personal care routines, such as nappy changing and toileting.
• Maintain a clean and safe play environment, tidying toys and equipment.
• Communicate with the childminder about children's activities, progress, and any concerns.

Requirements

• Willingness to undertake relevant childcare qualifications and training.
• Ability to work as part of a small team and follow instructions.
