About the Role

Our client is seeking a proactive and caring Childminder Assistant to support their established childminding service in Leeds . This role involves assisting a registered childminder in providing a safe, nurturing, and stimulating home-based environment for children. You will play a key part in daily activities, supporting children's learning and development through play and routine care. Key Responsibilities

• Assist the registered childminder in daily childcare duties, including feeding, changing, and comforting children.
• Engage children in age-appropriate play and learning activities, both indoors and outdoors.
• Help maintain a clean, safe, and organized childminding environment.
• Support children's individual routines and needs, promoting their emotional and social well-being.
• Accompany children on outings and community visits as required.

Requirements

• A genuine desire to work with children and a caring, patient attitude.
• Previous experience in a childcare setting is advantageous.
