About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly organised and personable Childminder Coordinator to join their team in Bradford . This role is vital in supporting and developing a network of registered childminders, ensuring they meet all necessary standards and provide high-quality childcare. You will act as a point of contact for childminders, offering advice, training, and resources to help them thrive. This position requires a strong understanding of childcare regulations and a genuine commitment to supporting independent childcare providers to deliver excellent care to children in the Bradford area.
Key Responsibilities
- Recruit, train, and support registered childminders, ensuring compliance with all relevant childcare regulations and frameworks.
- Conduct regular monitoring visits and reviews of childminding settings, providing constructive feedback and action plans.
- Offer ongoing advice and guidance to childminders on best practices, curriculum development, and business management.
- Organise and deliver professional development workshops and networking events for childminders.
- Maintain accurate records of childminders, including registrations, training, and compliance documentation.
- Act as a liaison between childminders, parents, and local authorities, resolving queries and concerns effectively.
Requirements
- A minimum Level 3 qualification in Childcare or a related field.
- Previous experience in a childminding setting, advisory, or supervisory role within childcare.
- Thorough knowledge of Ofsted regulations and the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage a caseload of childminders.
- A full driving licence and access to a vehicle for travel within the Bradford region is essential.
