Childminder - Part-Time - Coventry

About the Role

Our client is looking for a reliable and caring Childminder to join their family in Coventry . This position involves caring for young children in a home-based setting, providing a safe, stimulating, and educational environment. The successful candidate will foster the children's social, emotional, and intellectual development through engaging activities and consistent care, working closely with the parents to ensure all needs are met and to maintain open communication about the children's day-to-day experiences and progress.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide a safe and secure home environment for children under your care.
• Organise and lead engaging indoor and outdoor play activities.
• Prepare healthy and balanced meals and snacks.
• Support children's personal, social, and emotional development.
• Maintain accurate records of children's activities, progress, and any significant events.
• Communicate effectively and openly with parents about their child's well-being and development.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a childminding or childcare setting.
• Relevant childcare qualifications (e.g., NVQ Level 3 in Childcare).
• Up-to-date Paediatric First Aid certification.
• Enhanced DBS check.
• Knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework is advantageous.
