About the Role

Our client is seeking a reliable and caring Childminder to provide exceptional care for their child in Bradford on a part-time basis. You will be responsible for creating a safe, fun, and stimulating home-away-from-home environment, managing daily routines, and engaging the child in age-appropriate activities. This role requires someone with a nurturing disposition, a strong understanding of child development, and the ability to build a trusting relationship with both the child and the family. The ideal candidate will be proactive in planning activities that promote learning and social skills, ensuring the child's overall happiness and development during their time with you.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide a safe, secure, and stimulating environment for the child.
• Plan and implement a variety of age-appropriate activities, including creative play and outings.
• Manage daily routines such as feeding, napping, and personal care.
• Prepare healthy and nutritious meals and snacks.
• Communicate regularly with parents about the child's day, progress, and any concerns.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Childminder or in a similar childcare role.
• Knowledge of child development and safety regulations.
• Current First Aid and CPR certification.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy.
