We are currently looking for Residential Support Workers to join a lovely children's residential home in Stourbridge, supporting children and young people in a safe, caring and supportive environment.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who genuinely enjoys working with children and wants to make a positive difference to their day-to-day lives.

About the Home

The home provides a welcoming environment where children and young people are supported with their care, development and individual needs.

The setting has beautiful outdoor spaces, including gardens and a farm, giving the children opportunities to spend time outdoors, take part in activities and enjoy a hands-on environment.

The Role

As a Residential Support Worker, you will:

• Support children and young people with their daily routines and individual needs

• Build positive and trusting relationships

• Support activities, education and personal development

• Help create a safe, positive and stimulating environment

• Work as part of a supportive residential team

• Follow safeguarding and care procedures

Requirements

• Previous experience working with children and young people is essential

• Level 3 qualification in Residential Childcare or willingness to enrol onto a Level 3 Residential Childcare course

• A caring, patient and supportive approach

• Good communication and teamwork skills

• Ability to work flexibly across long days, mornings and/or nights
