Location: Weston-super-Mare, North Somerset Pay Rate: Up to £45 per hour Additional Incentive: Up to £100 per week travel contribution for candidates travelling into the area for work Hours: 37 hours per week Hybrid Working: Minimum 2 days per week in the office Visits: All statutory visits must be completed face-to-face Supportive management structure Stable service with a focus on achieving positive outcomes for children

About the Role

You will be working within a Children's Safeguarding Team undertaking a varied caseload, including:

Child in Need work Child Protection planning and intervention Care Proceedings and Court Work Assessments and direct work with children and families Multi-agency partnership working to ensure children are safeguarded effectively

About You

To be considered, you will need:

Social Work England registration Right to Work in the UK Experience within Children's Social Care Strong safeguarding and child protection experience Experience managing complex caseloads Confidence completing assessments, reports, and court work Strong communication and relationship-building skills Commitment to improving outcomes for children and familiesThis position would suit an experienced Children's Social Worker with a strong background in safeguarding, child protection, and statutory frontline work.
