Healthcare Support Worker - Complex Paediatric Care

About the Role Superior Healthcare is recruiting experienced Healthcare Support Workers to support a 1-year-old female with complex care needs overnight in her family home. This is a rewarding opportunity to provide specialist paediatric care , ensuring the client remains safe, comfortable, and well supported throughout the night, while promoting a calm and nurturing environment. She is a happy baby who loves sensory toys, music, and lights . At times, she may need reassurance and a cuddle to help her settle back to sleep. Carers should be confident in providing gentle, responsive support and encouraging development through play and sensory interaction where appropriate. Our community team provides round-the-clock care packages , enabling clients with long-term conditions to live safely in their own homes. Key Responsibilities Providing safe and attentive overnight care Monitoring and supporting complex clinical needs Delivering personal care where required Supporting comfort and sleep routines, including reassurance when needed Encouraging sensory engagement and development through play Building a trusting, professional relationship with the family Accurately recording care and reporting concerns Shift Pattern Monday-Sunday shifts available 22:00 - 07:00 Pay & Benefits xwwtmva Competitive hourly rates (based on experience) Paid induction and classroom-based training Paid shadow shifts and ongoing clinical training Opportunity to work towards an NVQ/Diploma Holiday pay and company pension Blue Light Card (funded) Employee Assistance Programme Menopause support Referral scheme (Love2Shop vouchers) Ongoing support from nurses and supervisors Requirements Complex paediatric experience is essential Previous care experience including personal care
