Job Description
Our client is a well-established specialist in commercial heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration, with over 50 years of industry experience.
They are looking for an experienced Chiller Service Engineer to join their field-based engineering team, covering the South of England.
Key Responsibilities
- Service, maintain and commission commercial and industrial chiller and HVAC systems.
- Diagnose and repair refrigeration, mechanical and electrical faults.
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance and inspections.
- Troubleshoot compressors, condensers, evaporators, refrigeration cycles and control systems.
- Attend breakdowns and resolve technical issues.
- Complete accurate service reports and documentation.
- Provide technical support to clients and colleagues.
- Assist with technical projects, troubleshooting and dilapidation reports.
- Work safely and in line with relevant regulations and company procedures.
Requirements
- Previous experience working with chiller equipment.
- Strong knowledge of refrigeration, HVAC and chiller systems.
- F-Gas certification - essential.
- Relevant engineering qualifications such as NVQs or equivalent.
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently.
- Full UK driving licence.
