Job Advertisement: CID Case Officer

Location: Grantham Police Station

Contract Type: Temporary (18 months)

Working Pattern: Full Time

Hourly Rate: £15.72 plus shift allowance

What You'll Do

• Support investigating officers within the CID team.
• Collect and manage digital, audio, and visual evidence, and prepare case files for PIP1 and PIP2 investigations.
• Ensure compliance with the Victims' Code of Practice, provide timely updates, and prioritize the needs of victims throughout the justice process.
• Submit initial court files to the Crown Prosecution Service, verifying accuracy and completeness of documentation.
• Work closely with investigating officers and external agencies to coordinate evidence gathering and monitor case progress.
• Support officers in court, conduct inquiries as directed, and ensure effective case progression.

Key Qualifications

• PIP1 or PIP2 accreditation (within the last three years) is desirable.
• Full UK driving licence or ability to drive in the UK.
• Experience providing high‑quality administrative services and handling sensitive materials.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office packages and case management systems.
