- £810 per day via Umbrella
- Stevenage – 100% onsite
- Contract until 31/12/2027

ABOUT THE CLIENT
Our client is a leading technology and professional services organisation delivering complex IT and communications solutions within a large-scale enterprise environment. They are looking for an experienced Cisco Telephony & Videoconferencing Engineer to support projects and complex operational issues across their collaboration environment.
THE CISCO TELEPHONY & VIDEOCONFERENCING ENGINEER ROLE:
You will participate in and lead Cisco Telephony and Videoconferencing projects, whilst also supporting operational teams with complex L1/L2 incidents when required.
You will be responsible for major incident qualification and resolution, action planning, RCA and knowledge management, alongside problem management and technical documentation. You will also support hardware/configuration testing, respond to customer requirements and transfer technical knowledge to technicians and engineers.
CISCO TELEPHONY & VIDEOCONFERENCING ENGINEER ESSENTIAL SKILLS:
- 5+ years' experience working within a Cisco environment
- Strong Cisco Telephony experience, particularly CUCM v12.5, Unity Connection, Jabber and IP Phones
- Strong Cisco Video Conferencing experience, including CMS, endpoints and TMS
- Strong understanding of SIP and H.323 protocols
- VMware v7/v8 experience
- Experience supporting complex incidents and major incident management
- Problem management and Root Cause Analysis (RCA)
- Experience producing/updating HLD and LLD technical documentation
- Hardware and configuration testing experience
- Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work collaboratively and transfer technical knowledge
- Desirable: Kurmi, Telisca, Real Time Monitoring tools, Prognosis, PeterConnects, WAN/LAN networking, network security and systems administration.
