Civil Design Engineer - Water & Drainage

Key Responsibilities

• Design and deliver water supply, foul drainage, and surface water management strategies for various projects.
• Prepare detailed calculations, drawings, and specifications using industry-standard software.
• Undertake flood risk assessments and produce associated reports.
• Coordinate designs with other engineering disciplines and architectural teams.
• Ensure compliance with relevant environmental regulations and design standards.

Requirements

• Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience in the design of water and drainage infrastructure.
• Proficiency in hydraulic modelling software (e.g., MicroDrainage, InfoWorks) and AutoCAD.
• Good knowledge of SuDS (Sustainable Drainage Systems) principles.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet project deadlines effectively.
